You have come to a place where the ancient knowledge of the science of atmospheres is used to create exquisite perfumes and fragrances. We have been providing the highest quality aromatic products including custom perfumes, essential oils and fragrance compounds for over two decades. Kelly Rivera, our perfumer, has an extensive knowledge on the subject of perfumery and the creation of intentional atmospheres and is in the process of writing a book on the subject, gleaning from her years of experience creating fragrances and educating others on the use of aromatics through workshops and demonstrations.

You won't find any commercial brand fragrances at The Perfumerie. Though we make exquisite perfumes, our focus is creating an atmosphere that is conducive to higher functioning as an individual, in the work place or any collective endeavor. You’ll find our questionnaire for the creation of a signature perfume quite in depth, so that we might best strike a chord that resonates deeply with your evolving life.

We practice a form of natural perfumery that utilizes pure essential oils, isolates and fragrance compounds along with other botanicals. An essential oil is the product of some form of distillation of plant matter. Isolates are as the name describes, isolated chemical constituents “mined” from a natural source such as jasmine with a wide chemical palette from which to mine constituents that can be recombined into aromatic bouquets. Fragrance compounds are bouquets comprised of essential oils, isolates, and in our case naturally derived chemical constituents. Some aromatic sources like gardenia, for example, contain such volatile components that they elude the distillation process and one is left with the natural essence of gardenia lacking the full body of the glorious bouquet the flower will produce. It takes the process of synthesizing – that is recombining chemical constituents, adding them to the essence of gardenia to produce the closest possible approximation to the flower. To this end it becomes important to work with high quality fragrance products compounded from natural sources, and this describes our Alchemical Gold Oils.

We will find scent used for the creation of intentional atmospheres in magic, religious ceremony and ritual in cultures throughout the world, and it has begun to make its way into mainstream business. One example can be found in those factories that will disperse an aroma therapeutic scent such as lemon in the air at a time in the late afternoon when production normally slows down. This has proven to refresh workers and up their functionality. We offer our own line of products and bath salts for your use in creating a space of rejuvenation for body, mind and soul.

At The Perfumerie the creation of a fragrance is taken as a high form of service. There is a technology of living that is behind our work with essential oils involving practices that help us provide clean, high quality products, tested only on humans. Our way of working prevents contamination of product with any unwanted ingredient, be it physical or energetic.
