Oriental
An oriental fragrance is by definition rich and sultry and exotic with the presence of such materials as sandalwood and frankincense. One can also detect the presence of jasmine and other floral notes beautifully compounded with rich base notes to create a perfume oil that is loved by many. This fragrance will often satisfy the person who is not satisfied by any other oil or combination. Oriental is strong and present, but mellow in its weight. It will blend with a wide palette of oils, picking up resonant notes with its rich bouquet.
Oriental is a good grounding oil that has qualities of fire along with the rich earth. Worn alone, it can have a watery quality to it, appropriately cooling and calming a fiery, finicky skin that acts as a reluctant medium for fragrance - the "nothing lasts on me" type.
